KR Scholars is proud to recognize Samia, a first-year law student at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, as the recipient of the KR Scholars Good News Scholarship.
This scholarship was created to support aspiring legal professionals who demonstrate a strong commitment to service, leadership, and community impact. As Samia continues her journey in law school, this recognition celebrates both her accomplishments and her dedication to making a difference through the legal profession.
Investing in future attorneys is especially important as representation within the legal field continues to grow. Black lawyers currently make up less than 5% of attorneys in the United States, highlighting the importance of supporting talented students who are working to change that reality and expand access to justice in their communities.
KR Scholars remains committed to investing in students who are not only pursuing higher education, but who are also preparing to become leaders, advocates, and changemakers in their fields.
