Workforce Readiness: HBCU Campus to Career
Dedicated to advancing career opportunities,
KR Scholars prioritizes workforce readiness for HBCU students.
Through tailored programs and resources, we equip students with the skills and confidence needed to excel in the professional world. By fostering a bridge between education and career success, we aim to empower the next generation of HBCU graduates for success beyond graduation.

Launch.
Interactive panels and virtual workshops featuring HBCU alumni in various fields equip students with the information, skills, and insights needed to thrive after graduation. We place particular focus on identifying and attaining economically mobile careers.
Grow with Google
KR Scholars is proud to partner with the Grow with Google program. Through this collaboration, we have launched a Certification Program to provide computer science and IT majors with the opportunity to earn industry-recognized digital certifications.
This initiative is more than just a training program—it is a crucial step toward closing the opportunity gap and addressing the digital divide that disproportionately affects underrepresented communities. By equipping our students with cutting-edge skills and knowledge, Google and KR Scholars are empowering them to thrive in the competitive and ever-growing technology sector.
Launching Careers Through Internships
Our KR Scholars are stepping into the workforce with confidence, gaining valuable experience through internships that align with their academic and career goals.

Internships play a pivotal role in starting careers. Students in this program gain valuable real-world experience in areas such as marketing, graphic design, web design, and social media content creation. By immersing themselves in these key areas, students not only refine their technical skills but also develop a deeper understanding of how their academic knowledge translates into practical applications in the workforce.
